When I took the imagine pictured above, my then girlfriend, now South Korean wife, said that I had played "the foreigner card" to even be so much as allowed to use my camera to merely snap the picture! Seriously?
Gosh, all I did was ask the kind sales lady in the store we had been visiting if I could take a photo and she immediately said it was okay. My wife Sunny was shocked at that particular turn of events, and as soon as we left the shop, and had continued to amble our way along the open air market street we had been strolling down, she told me that no ordinary Korean would have even been granted permission to take a photo. Not unless they intended to actually buy the item, that is.
Wow.
In fact, I would've loved to have purchased the sweatshirt the Animal design was printed on, but they were only selling them for women. And come to think of it, I guess that that was a women's clothing shop that we had momentarily ducked into that evening.
Oh, well. At the very least, I totally echo the sentiment of Animal here, because like so many other ordinary, red blooded American males, I too "need woman." And I'm so incredibly lucky to have finally found my beautiful South Korean wife, Sunny.
